I love the handle geometry however, if you have larger hands putting liners underneath the scales will thicken it a little bit I have larger hands. I enjoy the thinner feel , but that’s just me. My scales are on the 5.5. It’s a little bit thinner blade stock, which I love with all my heart. I’ve been EDC carrying it with a ulti clip in my right front pocket daily and believe it or not, I barely even feel it in my pocket unbelievably epic gonna have to buy Another one I magnacut As soon as I can

They look fine if not especially detailed in appearance. They fit the handle excellently but are a little small to my XL hand and, for micarta, are surprisingly about as slippery as G10 to the point I feel I NEED a lanyard for the first time in dozens of fair sized fixed blade knives.

I have been wanting a 5.5 for awhile and was debating on 3V or Magnacut. When I saw the restock of Magnacut I thought why not? So far this knife has blown my expectations away. As with any Architect knife it’s customizable with different scale options, sheaths and attachments. This may replace my 6.5 in 3V due to no choil. The knife comes pretty sharp out of the package but you can touch it up and profile it to whatever degree you prefer. All around great camp knife that will last a lifetime.
