The Architect Knives AK 3.5 and AK 4.5 handle is an all new design by Dale Stoops, designer of the LT Wright Forest Trail among other knives, that puts focus on comfort and practicality. It fits hand sizes up to an XL glove size to perfection, and fills the hand securely. It is large enough to achieve a firm grip, yet is not any larger than necessary. This handle features a hidden lanyard cutout at the back, giving your AK 3.5 or 4.5 knife a clean uncluttered look. The AK 3.5/4.5 handle kit is available in 25+ colors, and in G10 or Micarta material. G10 is impervious to moisture and is usually preferred for easy cleanup or for those who want the most dense handle material and don’t mind the additional weight. Micarta is also extremely durable, lighter than G10, and excels in grippy-ness when wet. Micarta offers an organic fibrous feel in the hand which many appreciate.
All Architect handles are professionally CNC machined from quality raw material. Our handles are designed to provide a solid, comfortable grip for extended use anywhere, anytime. The light textured finish provides excellent grip in slippery use situations, and cleans up easily.
Installation is easy, and with little practice you can install your AK 3.5/4.5 handle scales in as little as 60 seconds. Instructions and mounting hardware are included.

These are very good scales and I don’t think you can beat the price for the quality. I’m not sure what your time is worth but mine is way more important than finding a low budget and lesser quality unit. If I am going to depend on my knife, then these scales are a no brainer. Fit, feel, function, ergonomic and this equals safe. You get a solid grip with these in any type of use, this can make the difference between effective and a vicious operator injury and game over. Pay attention to the instructions to install them and you’ll have a great experience and the confidence of knowing exactly how well you assemble your equipment.
