We originally designed this handle at The Knife Connection for use on ESEE 5/6 knives back around 2014, and it was a home run from day one. They feature a streamlined contoured profile so the knife fits more naturally and comfortably in your hand. The light textured finish provides excellent grip in slippery use situations, and cleans up easily. The blade’s lanyard hole sits just behind this handle, providing a secure location to attach your lanyard.

I wish there were more knives in this size range but this one is in the sweet spot. Long enough to baton through most reasonable pieces, but also light enough to wear on the belt if you want. Nice finger guard, nice saber grind. There is literally nothing like it on the market. Only complaint is that the hardware bushings do not fit tightly in the holes on the tang. They loosened up pretty quick while chopping. I fattened them up with some electrical tape then added some blue lock tight. Annoying but easy mod. So far so good. I think this is the best deal on the market, and you can customize it! I’ll probably buy another soon.

Not my first time using TKC handle scales. Good quality and precise dimensions as always. I would personally prefer CNC’ed texturing or a higher grit polish, but that’s just me.
