Improved Camo Design
Crafted from fiberglass and epoxy, this CNC knife handle is designed to fit the AK 5.5, AK 6.5, and AK 8. These camo knife scales were initially designed by The Knife Connection for use on ESEE 5/6 knives around 2014, and users have loved them from day one.
Aside from the bold camo pattern, these knife scales were designed with ergonomics and ease of use in mind. The grip is comfortable, with a streamlined, contoured profile that allows the knife to fit naturally in your hand.
The handle is naturally resistant to moisture, and when compared to an average knife handle, it’s much easier to clean.
Anti-Slip Grip Design
Safety is by far the most important consideration when working with a knife. To prevent slipping, this knife features a textured finish that enhances grip in slippery situations. This way, the likelihood of accidents is dramatically lower.
The CNC knife handle is weighed perfectly to act as a counterbalance to the blade, ensuring high-quality knifework.
At the very edge of the handle, you’ll see a hole. This is designed for a lanyard, which can be very useful if you’re taking your knife to work in the field.
Installation
You can easily install your AK 5.5, AK 6.5, or AK 8 camo knife scales in as little as a minute. All the necessary mounting hardware and instructions are included. If you’ve never done this before, you’ll be surprised at how easy it is to change handles.

These handles are very well designed. The contouring is comfortable and gives confidence when using strong cuts. The length allows for different grips to maximize the usefulness of the blade. With a lanyard light chopping is possible and it is easy to grip towards the blade for precision cutting as well as reverse grip for stronger cuts.
The kit came with hardware for attaching to the blade as well as 2 small allen wrenches. This is everything needed to attach and adjust and maintain the handle. The directions on the bags made it easy to use.
