This quality CNC machined Kydex sheath for the Architect® Knives AK 4.5 features LT Wright’s innovative Slide Lock securing system.
This sheath is ambidextrous, features attachment slots for ultimate attachment possibilities, and is able to be used in high-ride or low-ride positions, vertical or horizontal carry.
NOTE: Attachment carry accessories such as Leather Drop Loops, MOLLE Locks, Clip Plates, or MOLLE Backers must be purchased SEPARATELY. This gives you the most versatility and control of your build.
Our AK 4.5 Kydex sheath is compatible with many accessories including:
- #2 Leather Drop Loop Backer (with or without firesteel loop)
- Blade-Tech Large Tek Loc (Vertical and Horizontal Carry)
- Small MOLLE Lok, Pair (Vertical and Horizontal Carry)
- ESEE Knives Small MOLLE Backer (42MB)
- ESEE Knives Accessory Pouches (52-Pouch and 52-Pouch-Long)
- and Many other accessories that have the same hole spacings (1.5″ vertical and 2″ horizontal).
Add our Kydex Firesteel loop to be able to attach a Firesteel to the sheath. The pictured paracord and cord lock is included.

This sheath is a great place for my AK 4.5 to reside. It is high quality and very similar to an Armatus custom sheath I bough for an ESEE 3. Super easy release and feels rugged. Definitely a great addition to my collection. AK is a super company with great products and great customer service. Keep it up!!

I lashed a leather patch to the kydex sheath. The sheathed blade is held between the inside of the belt and the outside of the pants. It is high and out of the way, held tight against the body, and very secure.
