The AK 3 – Light, Concealable, and Slicy

One of the latest AK models to be designed, the AK 3 is intended for slicing and general purpose chores.

The AK 3 is a concealable, lightweight and comfortable all-purpose EDC knife that features a blade length of 3.12 in.  and an 18 degree 2.96 in. long cutting edge. The blade stock is nice and thin at 3/32 in., and the high saber grind gives you maximum versatility in use.

This 1095 steel blade is proudly made in the USA by TOPS Knives in Idaho. It is expertly differentially heat treated by TOPS Knives giving you an excellent balance between toughness and edge holding ability. The blade machining and finishing are top notch and what you would expect to see on knives costing much more. The steel is coated with a clear Cerakote Ceramic protective finish.

G10 and Micarta handle options are available, in 25+ colors.

The AK 3 handle utilizes the perimeter profile of the ESEE 3/4 series knives, combined with our 3D handle design, providing for cross-compatibility. This offers the knife community a variety of customization options.

The blade and handle have an unconditional lifetime warranty.

The AK 3 is well suited for food preparation, utility farm/home use, game cleaning, concealed carry, side carry, light camp chores, and more. The blade’s thumb jimping provides traction and blade control when and where you need it. The AK 3 features a flat (non-serrated) hammer pommel for use in a variety of blunt force scenarios.

We plan to offer an optional sharpened 90 degree spine on a per-order basis soon.
